ServiceNow Privacy Management Engineer – Senior
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Privacy Management Engineer to lead the technical implementation of Privacy Management capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on building workflows, data models, and integrations that support global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and internal enterprise privacy policies. You will work closely with privacy, legal, technology, and risk teams while providing technical leadership to the engineering group.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end privacy workflows including Data Subject Rights (DSR) requests such as access, deletion, and rectification.
- Configure privacy-related data models, forms, and user interfaces for processing activities, data subjects, data categories, and related records.
- Integrate ServiceNow Privacy Management with upstream and downstream systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Translate regulatory and legal privacy requirements into scalable ServiceNow configurations and workflows.
- Build dashboards and reports to track privacy KPIs such as SLA adherence, request volumes, and processing status.
- Provide technical guidance, best practices, and mentoring to junior engineers within the team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in ServiceNow development.
- Strong experience in designing ServiceNow workflows, data models, and configurations.
- Knowledge or exposure to privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks.
- Strong JavaScript proficiency and experience with both server-side and client-side scripting in ServiceNow.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience implementing privacy or data protection solutions in large enterprises.
- ServiceNow certifications related to GRC/IRM/Privacy Management.
- Background in compliance, legal technology, or data governance.
